Cal-Wood is an extremely effective location for organizations to conduct a professional development opportunity such as a seminar, workshop, or conference. Trainings typically utilize the natural landscape of Cal-Wood as the learning context. Calvert Lodge has ample indoor meeting areas as well as audiovisual equipment. Cal-Wood staff is available to facilitate trainings and team-buildings.
Each year we offer our own Project WILD and Learning Tree workshops at Cal-Wood. Other organizations, such as Colorado State Forest Service and the University of Colorado, host their own training programs at Cal-Wood throughout the year.
