Nature Photography
August 15 | 5pm-8pm
$50 / Person

This course will start with a delicious meal at the lodge where we will learn about the wide range of skills needed for successful nature photography. We will then head out into the hills to apply our newly learned knowledge. Bring whatever camera you have, a smart phone will work great! This class will be taught by local photographer, Paul Bousquet.
An active outdoor, landscape, and action photographer for more than 30 years, Paul enjoys sharing his passion for creating visual stories and captivating images with others. “I started out as a black and white and color transparency film photographer. Using 35mm and medium format equipment taught me a lot about how to see light and apply
composition, balance, and focus to translate my vision into imagery,” says Bousquet. “I now love shooting digital with my phone, SLR, trail and action cameras,” he adds.
Paul has taught photography to hundreds of students and published dozens of articles on how to use cameras, lenses, accessories, and light to bring more impact and vibrancy to the images you create. Paul’s images have been published and used by more than 100 companies and publications, including: Sierra Club, Patagonia, Whole Foods, Sunset, the University of California, The Washington Post, and the city of Boulder.
