RACHEL BROOKS

Curriculum Manager

After two seasons as an instructor, Rachel became Cal-Wood’s Curriculum Manager in spring 2015. Rachel has a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resource Recreation & Tourism Emphasis in Environmental Communication from Colorado State University. Her role at Cal-Wood is integral to the success of our school program. As the liaison between schools and our instructors, Rachel works with teachers to identify what Cal-Wood offerings fit best within their classroom instruction and learning objectives. She then works directly with Cal-Wood’s instructors to customize each program for each school so that our instructors know what the school needs and wants and they execute that plan. Rachel also works on curriculum improvement, presents the Cal-Wood program to parents prior to their child’s trip, and assists with day to programming.
