Cal-Wood’s remote and breathtaking setting combined with cozy accommodations and delicious food create a perfect atmosphere for an organizational retreat for 30 to 120 guests. Groups find they accomplish more in their time at Cal-Wood because of the lack of distraction and the abundance of natural inspiration. Groups create their own dynamic program based on components such as meals, lodging, facilitation etc. Conveniently located just 35 minutes Northwest of Boulder on 1,200 secluded acres.

Cal-Wood offers 1,200 acres of land, the beautiful Calvert lodge, rustic cabins and our new Meckley Center that can sleep up to 116 people, 2 large meeting spaces and our professional kitchen staff who serve home-cooked meals eaten in our spacious dining hall and on our large back deck. Wilderness is all around you and less than a mile from the lodge are amazing mountain views!

Our kitchen caters to all types of groups from youth groups, weekend conferences, meditation retreats and more. Choose your own menu or let our chef choose the delicious home-cooked, buffet style food that is served hot while you're here. Meals include tacos, burgers, pulled pork, mac and cheese and more!

Instructors at Cal-Wood are qualified to lead a number of outdoor experiential activities including: team-building, archery, guided hikes, orienteering, fishing, survival skills, mountain biking and more!
