Volunteer projects are integral to Cal-Wood's restoration. Projects include erosion control, tree and grass planting, trail maintenance, forest management, wildfire management, invasive species control, building/campsite maintenance, and wildlife oriented projects. Our volunteer season is May - November.

Cal-Wood has a variety of exciting volunteer opportunities for individual and groups. Groups can include companies, corporate entities, organizations, boy scout/girl scout groups, families, and clubs.

Volunteer days are from 8:30am to 1pm.
Registration is first come first served. Your registration will be confirmed via email.

July 23: Trail Building Project 2

VOLUNTEERS FOR OUTDOOR COLORADO
Volunteers ages 12+ will preform trail construction tasks to help improve Cal-
Wood Education Center's trail system. Meanwhile, young people, ages 6-11, will
be entertained with youth programing provided by from Cal-Wood Education
Center and VOC staff!
